Geena Davis

Geena Davis is an internationally renowned American actress, producer, author and a women's rights advocate. Alongside her diverse performances in Hollywood and on television, she has also received praise for her work in tv's shows of various genres. Prior to her move into film her previous roles included fashion model as well as a part of the semi-finalist Team of Women's Archery in Olympics. Since her early years, her enthusiasm for music has led to her learning piano and flautist. Her first organ was at an Church that was located in Wareham. She relocated in New York City after graduating from Boston University with a degree in acting. Her struggle was intense and was able to do a variety of odd jobs before getting her first break as an actor. Models were a hit before making her acting debut in the film "Tootsie" in 1982. She also appeared in several Television series and had a highly successful career as an actor and was awarded the Oscar Award for her movie 'The Accidental Tourist'. The Golden Globe Award was also given to her for her part in an American TV drama. She has two sons and one daughter who is from her union with Reza Jarrahy.
