Samantha Mohr
Mohr was one of the UGA student. She entered her first pageant when she was advised by a fellow student. Mohr was crowned Miss Columbus 1985. After winning, Mohr became eligible for her place in the Miss Georgia pageant which was scheduled for June 1985. Mohr received her title as Miss Georgia 1985 on Saturday 22nd June, 1985. More than $3500 was awarded Mohr with a scholarship as well as other prizes. Her activities as Miss Georgia included public appearances at spots across Georgia. Mohr is Georgia's official representative. attended Miss America 1986, Atlantic City, New Jersey in September 1985. Mohr predicted it was likely that Susan Akin would win Miss America with the help of computer simulation. The odds of winning were 22:1. Mohr did not make the Top 10 finalist in the race for the crown. Mohr's stint in the role of Miss Georgia continued until Marlesa Ball was crowned Miss Georgia 1986.
